Big Thought

For 25 years, Big Thought has worked to provide creative learning programs that help kids use their imagination, excel in academics and contribute to their community. Thriving Minds Camp is a citywide initiative to support engaging, creative activities for kids. It’s a collaboration that brings together a variety of organizations that believe in the power of imagination, creativity and innovation to change the way children learn. These organization include the City of Dallas, Dallas Independent School District and more than 100 arts, cultural and community organizations.

Nestled throughout the neighborhoods in Dallas, these free camps provide children with quality teaching in academics and art year round. What they learn in Thriving Minds can be taken back and integrated into the classroom and the community. Students have a chance to express themselves, be free and creative and learn how to succeed. Everything is driven by Big Thought’s mission: to make imagination a part of everyday learning.
